Frequently Asked Questions

Fertility awareness is a science-backed method of tracking your body's natural signs—like basal body temperature, cervical mucus, and hormone shifts—to understand when you’re fertile, when your period is coming, and how your cycle reflects your overall health. I teach two different sympto-thermal methods - SymptoPro and Fertility Knowledge Collective Protocol.
-
Nope! Fertility awareness is for any season - preventing pregnancy, trying to conceive, postpartum, perimenopause, or just wanting to understand your body better. You don’t need a cycle goal to get started. The majority of clients I work with are actually preventing pregnancy.
-
My coaching is rooted in evidence-based fertility awareness and is open to everyone—regardless of your faith background.
While I’m a certified SymptoPro instructor (a method originally developed in a Catholic context), I also teach the Fertility Knowledge Collective (FKC) protocol, which is completely secular. You can choose the approach that feels most aligned with your values.
Whether you’re seeking values-based guidance as a Catholic client or a fully secular experience, I tailor my support to you. You’ll never be pressured toward any specific belief system, and you’ll always be treated with respect—especially when it comes to family planning and your personal goals.
-
Perfect! I’ll meet you right where you are and break it down step-by-step. Most of my clients haven’t heard in detail about this before and are learning about cervical mucus or basal body temperature for the first time and that’s exactly what I’m here for.

Amazing! I work with clients who’ve learned various FAM methods. You don’t have to start over—coaching can support you in interpreting charts, navigating irregular cycles, or applying what you already know with more confidence.
-
Not at all. You can start with a one-time session, a texting-only plan, or a custom coaching package. We’ll build a plan that fits your body, budget, and schedule.
-
Cycle Basics is a self-paced intro—great for someone brand new to hormones, phases, and fertility signs. It’s a perfect starting point before diving deeper into a specific fertility awareness based method or coaching.

-
Yes! Irregular or postpartum cycles just need a bit more attention and support. I’ve worked with many clients in these seasons and can help you interpret your signs and find clarity even when things feel messy.
-
Most clients feel autonomous after 3-6 cycles of guided support. But your learning curve is valid, some take a little longer, others move quickly. You’re not behind.
-
That’s totally normal! I recommend starting with the free masterclass, Cycle Basics Mini Course, or booking a free inquiry call. We’ll talk about your season, your goals, and where you’ll get the most impact.
-
You’ll want to check out Pathway to Pregnancy (a short self-paced course) or book private coaching. We’ll work on timing, hormone signs, and root-cause support to help you conceive naturally.
-
Not at this time. However, your HSA/FSA may cover fertility-related education or coaching—check with your provider. I’m happy to provide receipts or documentation if needed.

I offer judgment-free, deeply personalized coaching grounded in evidence and empathy. I bring my training as a certified SymptoPro instructor, a Fertility Knowledge Collective member, FACTS trained speaker, and miscarriage/bereavement doula—but also my lived experience as a mom, charting nerd, and body literacy advocate. We’re in this together.
